Google Nexus One order and shipping arrangement

The flow of the order

I ordered from Google on 12 January (local time) two Google Nexus One phones, one of them arrived tonight(17 January).  Actually both are arrive Hong Kong on 16 January, as the DHL online tracking indicated:

Google’s complexity in shipping

What I am concerned is the redundancy of the travelling time for the Phone.  The phone should be made in China, and then flew to Indiana for storage for an unknown time, and then fly back to Hong Kong!  In addition, I have placed two orders simultaneously to the same address, strange that only one arrive tonight, and the other one is arriving tomorrow!  They could have shipped both in one shipment, in order to save the packing materials!  I don’t mind if I cannot save any shipping cost, and this environmental unfriendly arrangement can certainly be improved.  I hope they can be more flexible in the near future.
